Meta-virus; breaking the hardware species barrier

Article Abstract:

Microsoft Corp. unknowingly infected Microsoft Word users' computers with a virus capable of spreading very fast in any type of machine. Although Microsoft quickly released a software to control the virus, computer users claim that it is not very useful for guarding their machines against other versions of the virus that may come up in the future.
