The uses of evolutionary biology

Article Abstract:

A May 1994 workshop on evolutionary biology explored the expanding practical applications of the discipline. Evolutionary biology can aid in protecting biodiversity, help provide more systematic methods for developing new pharmaceuticals and play a role in bioremediation research.

Delivery of molecular medicine to solid tumors

Article Abstract:

The delivery system of molecular medicine needs improvement to make the therapy successful in treating solid tumors. Multidisciplinary studies on delivery is one approach. Research on applying animal models to humans and better training on barriers to treatment are also needed.
