Cuban sandhill cranes

The project aims to conduct the first comprehensive study of sandhill cranes in Cuba to promote their conservation. Dr. Felipe Chavez-Ramirez, Xiomara Galvez and his project team will count, trap, and brand cranes, and monitor their movements on historic 'Isle of Youth'

Malaysian bat conservation

The project documents bat diversity to help save a 30-million-year-old rainforest. Dr. Tigga Kingston and his project team are monitoring bat diversity and population sizes and identifying roosting sites and patterns.
