Article Abstract:

The project is undertaken to document the behavior and ecology of threatened wild sheep to stem their population decline. Dr. Richard Reading, Ganchimeg Wingard, and Sukhiin Amgalanbaatar and his project team at the site of Ikh Nartin Chuluu's stunning landscape of upland steppe and rocky out-crops will capture adult argali or locate cryptic newborn lambs and chart their movements using radiotelemetry.
