Poppet Pol

Article Abstract:

Poppet Pol was the daughter of Augustus John, a painter, and was a model for many of his paintings, She grew up without schooling and married a rich physicist and jockey at the age of 18-years-old. She married the painter Willem Pol in 1952 and Pol's daughter, Talitha, became her stepdaughter. Talitha married Paul Getty Jr and their son was called Tara. Talitha died in 1971 and Tara lived with his grandparents, Willem and Poppet Pol, calling Poppet 'Mummy'. Poppet Pol became a skilled cook, and was entertaining, despite fretting over the inconveniences of old age.

Article Abstract:

Tarantino is in control of every aspect of his filmmaking. The company with the original option on 'Pulp Fiction' did not see it until the final draft was brought. Differences in casting options prevented them from even making the film. Tarantino went elsewhere. He discussed filmmaking and controls.

Picosecond ultrasonics

Article Abstract:

A mechanism similar to sonar is being developed so as to determine the thickness of ultra thin films commonly used in semiconductors. The process offers a non-destructive way of testing film thickness as it uses only sounds to determine thickness.
