Article Abstract:
The quality of a pavement depends on its life span, maintenance costs, levels of service and user costs which involves the quality of materials and skills used to build it. End-result specifications can be used to increase the probability of meeting the contractee's objectives through balancing the responsibilities of the agency and contractor for life-cycle cost-effective methods and materials of asphalt-pavement construction. Statistical quality assurance is used as a foundation while requirements for both parties include quality assurance and control, reasonable expectations and computer simulations.

Article Abstract:
The existence of a meiotic centromere pairing mechanism in budding yeast is demonstrated by experiments. The centromere pairing combines the meiosis I bipolar spindle attachment of nonexchange chromosome pairs.
