Article Abstract:

New laws make employers responsible for providing a safe and healthy workplace for employees using personal computers. The law covers the equipment, the building, organisations of work areas, time spent using the computers and use of software. Recommendations to comply with the laws includes assessing the whole building, not just solving problems piecemeal, and consulting fully with the equipment users.

In memoriam: Margarita Pazi, 1920-1997

Article Abstract:

Scholar Margarita Pazi helped continue the legacy of German Jewish authors and culture. She published many books on German Jewish literary and historical topics, and rediscovered and wrote on many 19th- and 20th-century writers. Pazi also participated in international conferences and received commendations from her German Jewish academic colleagues.
