Technology management in a dual world

Article Abstract:

Technology management can be classified as either having macro or micro approach. Macro technology management is discussed in relation with the Chinese experience. The brief discussion on micro technology management reflects the retarded development of this field. This stagnation in micro technology management has implications on macro technology management. Changes must be implemented so that more coordination can be achieved between micro and macro technology management.

Negotiated agendas: families in science and technology museums

Article Abstract:

The importance of museum professionals and policy maker to understand the expectations and perceptions of family groups is highlighted. An insight in to how family groups make sense of their visit to hands-on museum and to discuss their experience in their own terms, including their perceptions of interactive science exhibition is discussed.
