Terminal: transformation

Article Abstract:

The port of Tacoma has entered into a long-term agreement to lease the terminal to Evergreen Marine Corporation, based in Taipei, Taiwan to transform the existing facility into a 171-acre state-of-the-art container terminal. The improvements include dredging to enlarge the existing turning basin, lengthening, strengthening and adding crane rails to the two-berth wharf structure.

The Infrastructure Security Partnership (TISP), formed in September 2001, mainly works for the protection of United State's critical infrastructure. The forum consists of more than 200 public and private sector nonprofit organizations and agencies related to construction industry in United States.
