The dialectic of IT chargeback systems

Article Abstract:

The discussion regarding the use of chargeback systems in information technology (IT) heightens due to rising cost and investment in information systems. Companies that utilize chargeback systems contend that the use of such systems result in lowered IT costs and establishment of organizational computation. On the other hand, organizations that are hesitant to use chargeback systems cited ineffective utilization and systems resources misuse as reasons for their continued refusal.

An integrative taxonomy of intellectual capital: measuring the stock and flow of intellectual capital components in the firm

Article Abstract:

An intellectual framework has been developed to identify and measure important resources that can provide sustainable competitive advantage. Such a framework has been found to be essential in a company's strategic management process that also analyzes each resource element. Since intellectual capital assets are intangible, an integrative taxonomy of intellectual capital based on quantitative and qualitative indicators.

Quality information systems: a unifying framework

Article Abstract:

Quality information systems act as a unifying framework for the synthesis of the behavior and technical fields of information systems. Such systems offer synergy between the two fields of information system so as to address the right problems in the right way. Quality information systems also act as information systems in which total quality management (TQM) concepts and techniques are implemented.
