Wading in Waste: Thanks to unchecked development along America's coasts, disease-causing microbes are increasingly fouling beaches and shellfish beds.

Article Abstract:

The unchecked development along America's coasts that lead to disease-causing microbes increasingly fouling beaches and shellfish beds which resulted in 85 percent of beach closures is reported. To protect coastal resources, the gorgeous beaches and sparkling bays and tranquil tidal creeks, the municipal authorities should put restrictions on impervious surface coverage's in new developments when coastal communities build sewage systems.
