Article Abstract:

The behavior urban aerosol particles is shown to be more complex than the Whitby trimodal aerosol paradigm and whose behavior in the atmosphere is primarily driven by the behavior of the primary aerosol, especially its accumulation properties. This is due to the action of the high-temperature combustion components of urban aerosols and the aerosol scavenging property of the secondary sulfate nuclei, which dictates hygroscopic growth and cloud processing.

The system makes use of computational tools and various data retrieval, management, statistical analysis, and visualization methods to integrate the modeling of the components.
