Lifelong treatment with oral DHEA sulfate does not preserve immune function, prevent disease, or improve survival in genetically hetrogeneous mice

Article Abstract:

Research involving the lifetime exposure of mice to dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate in drinking water is discussed. Results did not support the hypothesis that chronic exposure to DHEAS preserves the immune function in mice or extends their life span by preventing late-life illness.
