Rethinking estrogen and the brain

Article Abstract:

Before conclusions can be made linking estrogen with the prevention or delay of memory loss or dementia, results from more encompassing clinical trials must be undertaken. There are generally high incidence of compliance bias because the studies require particularly highly motivated women. In addition there is a high incidence of misclassification of exposure to negatively effect test results.
