Screening for dementia by telephone using the memory impairment screen

Article Abstract:

A cross sectional validation study to develop and assess telephone-based screening tests for Alzheimer's disease is presented. The Memory Impairment Screen by Telephone (MIS-T), the Category Fluency Test (CF-T) and the Telephone Instrument for Cognitive Status (TICS) are the instruments included in the telephone battery used for measurement.

Modeling memory decline in older adults: the importance of preclinical dementia, attrition, and chronological age

Article Abstract:

A longitudinal study was undertaken and examined memory loss in nondemented older adults. The disease progression was studied and it was found that chronological age and study attrition contributed to observed memory loss.
