A wake-up call for the financial services industry: Re-inventing financial aging

Article Abstract:

The financial services industry is the group of professionals who concern themselves with advising people about what to do with their money, is in a state of single-mindedness, focusing for the most part on the promulgation of asset accumulation. The financial services industry should embrace and train its representatives, thus enabling them to better understand and serve the needs of an aging population as they work together to accumulate wealth and then make the transition into the next life stage.
