America's educators rewriting World War II history

Article Abstract:

The World War II (WWII) is systematically and grossly misrepresented for the sake of political correctness in textbooks. Referring to the emphasis on women and minorities during WWII, Porter Crow, a WWII veteran and a professor at Barry University believes that students might conclude women had more of an impact on the outcome of war than they actually did therefore, William Bennetta, an editor and the president of Textbook League reiterates that high school history teachers must go beyond the textbooks and find information form credible sources in order to provide meaningful information on WWII.

It is shown the Marine Corps Historical Center, the National Museum of Naval Aviation in Pensacola to name a few have no exhibits or memorials within the museum or on the museum grounds relating to the Cold War, except some in Germany and Checkpoint Charlie Museum in Berlin.
