Economic experiments for the management accounting classroom

Article Abstract:

The paper lays out three management accounting experiments for specified classroom use. These experiments address misaligned goals within an organization, where management control is applied to alleviate such goal incongruence. These experiments are about the following: the role of information in a simple budgeting setting, the role of information in repeated interaction, and the management control benefits of reducing information.
