Destructive dynamics of middle management intervention in postmerger processes

Article Abstract:

The dynamics of middle management intervention during postmerger processes have always been disastrous leading to implementation failure because the strategic intent is operationalized in the tension between groups of middle management driven by self-interests. To overcome this they need to make sense of the strategy, elaborate on detail of the content of strategy and always stay attuned to the employees' emotional needs.
