Evaluation of national R&D projects in Korea

Article Abstract:

Korea's evaluation of its three research and development programs (R&D) is beset by limited utilization of evaluation results and lack of objectivity and credibility. Evaluation results should be extensively utilized to improve the evaluation system's efficacy, while peer review evaluation should be coupled with a less subjective system to enhance credibility and impartiality. Programs include the Special R&D Program, Generic Technology Development Program and the National Telecommunications R&D Program.
