Migration, labor-leisure choice, and Pareto suboptimal redistribution

Article Abstract:

The concept of income redistribution to the poor was evaluated in the context of public good through the use of migration with labor-leisure options. By assessing the fixed wages of employees, it was established that the imposition of redistributive policy would create adverse effects on the economic conditions of owners and workers. Such is most prevalent in Pareto suboptimal redistribution, where welfare benefit level is high and worker migration is intense.
