Profile of public laboratories, industrial partnerships and organisation of R&D: the dynamics of industrial relationships in a large research organisation

Article Abstract:

An empirical study of 20 public research laboratories is conducted to analyze the nature of laboratories and their interactions with the industry. The laboratories are part of the genetics and plant breeding, and glucide and protein technology departments. They are designated into three types according to type of operations. Results indicate that each classification has specific regulations, scientific and technological operations, and choice and method of industrial interaction.
