Community development and care giving services directly at home are two factors that need to be focused on, to genuinely improve the quality of life for the elderly. Other measures to enhance their way of life are also discussed.

Survey and reflections on the state of care for the rural elderly in the underdeveloped central region

As the rural elderly lack dependable financial support, giving full support to the village for rural eldercare may be considered as an option. With this, dependence on the family playing a supporting role will be reduced.
