Development and validation of the secondary traumatic stress scale

Article Abstract:

A 17-item instrument is designed to describe the development and validation of the Secondary Traumatic Stress Scale (STSS). It was concluded that the STSS fills the need for reliable and valid instruments specifically designed to measure the negative effects of social work practice with traumatized populations.

Rap-music Attitude and Perception scale: A validation study

A study was designed to test the validity of the Rap-music Attitude and Perception (RAP) Scale which is 1-page, 24 item measure of a person's thoughts and feelings when listening to the rap music The effect of rap music on young people, their families and communities was determined.

Ukrainian women in the new economy

Article Abstract:

A qualitative methodology is used to explore how Ukrainian women perceived the changes in their lives in the 1990s after the collapse of Soviet rule. The findings suggest that the women worried about the economy and their ability to providde for their families.
