Flirting with disaster

Article Abstract:

45-year-old Thomas Montgomery was married for 16 years and had two daughters but he led an alternate life in an online chatroom as an 18-year-old US marine. He fell in love with his 17-year-old chatmate named 'Jessi' that soon led him to be arrested on suspicion of murdering his co-worker, 22-year-old Brian Barrett. The events leading to the murder case are presented.

The root beer

Article Abstract:

Archaeologists Billy Quinn and Declan Moore were excavating a grassy mound in Ireland called "fulacht fiadh" when Quinn hypothesized that their discovery might be the country's first breweries. The theory, which was published in the journal Archaeology Ireland, and the making of an ancient ale are discussed.

Judge Peter Openshaw was unfamiliar with internet terms before the trial of Younis Tsouli for a series of online crimes. Prosecutor Mark Ellison had to explain to the judge the meaning of an online forum and website.
