Fluctuations in state implicit self-esteem in response to daily negative events

Article Abstract:

The changes that negative events bring about in state implicit self-esteem were evaluated. Findings of the study confirmed that exposure to positive stimuli or self-concept threats affected the individual's implicit self-esteem and that fluctuation occurred on a daily basis in people's state implicit self-evaluation depending on their experiences.
