On the social mechanism of postcommunist transformation in Russia

Article Abstract:

Patterns of primarily evolutionary development are described by the concept of social mechanism of post-communist transformation in Russia. The important feature of this concept is its investigation of the mechanism as a unified phenomenon in which all the elements are interconnected and interdependent.

The relationship of Russia's urban and rural populations (1991-1997)

Article Abstract:

Russia's urban population has been declining since the 1990s while the rural population grew. Research suggests urbanization will recover by the third or fourth decade of the 21st century, beginning once the urban population reaches 80% in most of Russia's rural regions.
