Representations of attachment to father in the narratives of preschool girls in post-divorce families: implications for family relationships and social development

Article Abstract:

This article examines the perception of pre-school girls of their relationships with their fathers in a post-divorce family. The authors, analyzing narratives of the children regarding their portryals of their attachment to their fathers, maintain the girls' responses were very negative in a social behavior context.
