School-based prevalence assessment of the need for mental health services: Survey development and pilot study

Article Abstract:

The School Site Needs Assessment instrument was developed to examine various academic, social and mental health issues in classrooms and schools. The results showed that some of the students had atleast one psychological problem and this assessment instrument can assist social activists in assessing the mental health of students and classrooms from the point of view of teachers, leading to classroom and school site interventions.

I am a Masters Level social worker who works with teens, (high school) and would like to see a needs assessment since the program I am working with is new.

Using client satisfaction to improve case management services for the elderly

Article Abstract:

Client satisfaction studies have long suffered from the limitation of being unable to provide concrete feedback for service providers. Hence, an innovative approach to measure client satisfaction is proposed and the conceptual and theoretical frameworks of this new measure, Client Satisfaction: Case Management (CSAT-CM) is described.
