Shall I compare thee? Perceived entitativity and ease of comparison

Article Abstract:

A study is conducted to find that the ease with which two group members are compared on an explicit comparison task would vary depending on the entitativity of the group to which the individuals belonged. The study showed greater comparison and subsequent contrast for high entitativity groups and less contrast for low-entitativity groups.
