Social changes and occupational gender inequality

Article Abstract:

Occupational categories in China indicate that the number of occupations segregating against women is more than the ones against men, a higher degree of female segregation in white-collar occupations and higher female segregation in costal provinces compared to inland provinces. Switching of political goals, faulty laws and regulations, unsuccessful law enforcement, and lack of proper control of resources directed to realize gender equity are than main causes for widening gender inequality.
