The dualism of business victimization and organized crime

Article Abstract:

Ukraine's instability and weak government infrastructure has led to the targeting of businesses in Ukraine by the organized crime group resulting in the formation of a kind of symbiosis or interdependence between the two. Victimization of business is an indicator as well as the product of organized crime and to prevent further victimization of businesses in Ukraine, systems should be developed to monitor and identify the characteristics, which increase the potential of victimization.
