A psychometric evaluation of the rehabilitation adherence questionnaire

Article Abstract:

The Rehabilitation Adherence Questionnaire (RAQ) a self-reported inventory administered to athletes to assess sports injury rehabilitation programs, appears to need a complete overhaul or should be abandoned. Many of the items appearing in the RAQ are ambiguous or confounded with outcome. Caution is urged in utilizing the RAQ to examine psychological factors to rehabilitation.
