Continued improvement in the employment picture

Article Abstract:

A survey conducted by the American Physical Therapy Association reveals that unemployment among physical therapists has declined since 1998, reaching 1.8% in Oct 2000. The survey also examined job satisfaction, employment rates for physical therapist's assistants, and the impact of the Balanced Budget Amendment on the health care employment market

Positive employment trends in physical therapy

Reported productivity expectations of PTs

Article Abstract:

A survey of physical therapists shows similar types of settings have significant variation in productivity standards. Also, standards for private outpatient work tended to be more stringent than those in any other practice environment.
