Effect of physical training on total and visceral fat in obese children

Article Abstract:

Obese children can benefit from participating in high intensity physical training. Children with high percentages of body fat who participated in regular exercise over a 4-month period accumulated significantly less visceral adipose tissue compared to nonexercising children and experienced other beneficial changes in body composition.

Effects of creatine supplementation on body composition and renal function in rats

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted with an aim to evaluate the long-term effects of oral creatine supplementation on renal function and body composition in an experimental model. Creatine supplement in combination with exercise increased the proportion of lean mass more than exercise or creatine alone.

Long-term oral creatine supplementation does not impair renal function in healthy athletes

Article Abstract:

This article describes research into the health aspects of athletes who receive oral creatine supplementation. No detrimental effects on athletes' kidney functions from short-, medium-, or long-term use of this supplement.
