The Ryder Cup has become an increasingly popular event for the golfing public. It was originally intended to promote goodwill between competing nations and it is important that this aspect continues without the unfortunate behaviour of some players and spectators.

Kings of the Hill: winning the Ryder Cup at Oak Hill - an old-time, tree-lined American course - means walking the straight and narrow

Article Abstract:

The 1995 Ryder Cup Matches will be held at the Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, NY. The course is a difficult one, and the competition should be demanding for both the US and European teams. The course, and specific holes, are described.
