Muscle pills: Vitamin E may reduce exercise-induced muscle damage

Article Abstract:

A study of 21 men who engaged in regular, strenuous exercise suggests that vitamin E intake may inhibit the muscle injuries associated with such exercise. Subjects who ingested 800 iu of vitamin E daily for four weeks had healthier muscle tissue than the control group.

Studies show that moderate exercise such as walking can curb cravings for fattening snacks and for smoking. Exercise also causes the brain to produce chemicals that stimulate more positive emotions.
