Power versus strength-power jump squat training: Influence on the load-power relationship

Article Abstract:

A study on twenty-six recreationally trained male subjects was done to compare the impact of power training and strength-power training on the load-power relationship in the jump squat. The results concluded that combined strength and power training resulted in increased power output for a major part of the load-power relationship than power training.

Ultrasound-guided percutaneous longitudinal tenotomy for the management of patellar tendinopathy

Article Abstract:

Results show that percutaneous longitudinal internal tenotomy is a simple surgical procedure done on an outpatient basis and is a first line of operative intervention in the treatment and management of chronic patellar tendinopathy.

Ruptured Achilles tendons are significantly more degenerated than tendinopathic tendons

This article discusses the relationship between tendinopathic and ruptured Achilles tendons. An analysis of fiber structure, blood vessel formation, and collagen degeneration is presented.
