The Glycemic Index (GI) ranks food items by how quickly they break down into sugar after consumption. It helps people to reduce weight and prevent disease like diabetes, heart disease, stroke and cancer. The people expecting to loose their weight must avoid food items with higher ranking on GI index.

Losing weight - it's all in the timing
