The RAMP system: a template for the progression of athletic-injury rehabilitation

Article Abstract:

A systematic format to help less-experienced clinicians progress injured athletes through the phases of recovery from injury is provided by the RAMP system. An accurate reassessment of the injury condition at the beginning of every rehabilitation is the foundation of the RAMP system.

Rehabilitation after Oswestry autologous-chondrocyte implantation: the OsCell protocol

Article Abstract:

Two flexible postoperative protocols to rehabilitate patients after an autologous-chondrocyte implantation procedure to the knee are discussed. The main objective of this postoperative protocol for patients was to repair articular-cartilage defects of the knee.

The effects of ice massage on maximum isokinetic-torque production

Article Abstract:

The effects of ice massage on maximum isokinetic torque produced during a 20-minute interval are determined. Studies suggest use of the ice massage for its pain-reducing effects to allow resistance exercise during the rehabilitation process.
