The ritual on the Ratinlixul Vase
Article Abstract:
Research shows that the scenes depicted on Maya pottery vases from the Late Classic period (AD 600-800) are replicated because they represent the turbulent times of the period. The scenes depicted on the Ratinlixul vase, Nebaj vase and Procession vases are illustrated and discussed. Evidence suggests that the person seen on a litter is a tribal leader attending a ritual ceremony.

Different types of cancers are more readily detected and cured due to advances in medicine. Research shows that cancers can also be prevented by implementing behavioral changes that reduce their risks of developing cancer. The changes include eating a better diet and quitting smoking.
