The development of a complete CNG reformation engine system, which integrates a highly efficient heat exchanger with steam, is discussed. This system along with convenient and low priced supply of electric energy could become an alternative to nuclear power and the hybrid engine system will let ships crew to operate a vessel even if a single engine fails.
