Organizational influence on working peopleEs occupational noise protection in Hong Kong

Article Abstract:

Hong Kong ranks first in occupational deafness from occupational noise, and thus this issue requires more investigation. A random sample survey collected data from 1,701 Chinese workers in Hong Kong (a Special Administration Region of China), who reported working in settings with some levels of occupational noise. The results revealed that organizational regulation of occupational noise protection was the root cause of workerEs protective behavior.

The estimated reduction in the odds of loss-of-control type crashes for sport utility vehicles equipped with electronic stability control

Article Abstract:

The impact on accident rate involving sport utility vehicles, which are equipped with stability control systems, is discussed. The age of driver on accident rate is examined.
