Dark ages

Article Abstract:

Leisure industry operators are increasingly aware of the need to make regular changes to dark rides to ensure that they remain attractive, especially as many people visit the same amusement park more than once. Operators are therefore looking to add new dimensions to dark rides, possibly through installing equipment which allows the pace of the ride to be varied. Attention is also being given to ways of bringing visitor interaction.

Article Abstract:

Leisure operators should carefully consider their requirements before purchasing a visual display unit. Visual displays that are well designed will enhance an attraction's appeal. Those that are inappropriate will be a disadvantage. Interactive audio-visual displays, such as those in museums are often poorly designed. Improvements in technology will enhance visual stands.
