Eritrea

Article Abstract:

Eritrea offers much tourist appeal in three main areas of historic visits, special activities such as deep sea fishing and the Red Sea beach resorts. Tours are likely to be the main tourist attractions in the short-term future, with the Massawa and Asmara urban regions offering much architectural appeal. Greater co-ordination is required between Eritrea and Ethiopia to encourage tourist arrivals, however. The Ministry of Tourism is responsible for tourism promotion, with both foreign and domestic investment encouraged.
