Article Abstract:

New exhibitions are showing at the Natural History Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) and the Science Museum, London, England. 'Dinosaurs' at the Natural History includes a robotic display of life-size dinosaurs. 'Sovereign' at the V&A features 40 displays commemorating the 40th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's reign. 'Science Box' at the Science Museum provides a facility for displaying scientific achievements. The first in a series of temporary exhibitions portrays the development of DNA fingerprinting.

Heritage battle

Article Abstract:

The UK Ministry of Defence is selling 140 properties following cuts in finance. Many properties could be sympathetically redeveloped as museums or tourism centres. However, organisation Save Britain's Heritage (SAVE) fears most will be demolished for new housing. Its exhibition 'Deserted Bastions' at the Heinz Gallery, London, England aims to alert the public to the threat to wartime heritage before it is too late.

Article Abstract:

'Leisure Opportunities' has developed into an influential leisure news periodical since it's inception as an employment guide. Since news was first featured in September 1989 coverage has extended to interviews and full features. Although many leisure facility openings have been reported since 1989 recession has affected the industry causing financial failure and abandoned projects.
