Sir Jackie Stewart slams plans for London Grand Prix

Article Abstract:

A demonstration race was held in London to promote the city as a venue of Formula One Grand Prix racing. Former race driver and current president of British Racing Drivers' Club, Sir Jackie Stewart felt that the plan should carefully evaluated as the taxpayers money involved. The London mayor Ken Livingston expressed his full support for the promotional efforts.

Mackintosh pledges pound sterling 35m boost for West end

Article Abstract:

Sir Cameron Mackintosh revealed details of his five year pound sterling 35m plan regarding renovation of his London theatres and to create a new one. Further, there are plans to include a pound sterling 7m refurbishment of the Prince of Wales theatre with improved facade, entrances and a rebuilt auditorium.

Plans for pounds sterling 40m museum get a step further

The Glasgow Transport Museum, which estimated completion costs of around pounds sterling 40m, is situated on the banks of the river Clyde. The development of this museum has proceeded to the next stage of procurement by obtaining a detailed plan projection for the site.
