The American society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery reveals that since 2003 to 2004 the number of surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures performed nationally increased by 44 percent. The society estimates that Americans spent $ 12.5 billion on plastic surgery procedures in 2002, an increase of $ 3.1 billion from 2003.
