A cancer therapy resistant to resistance

Article Abstract:

The discovery that anti-tumour drug Endostatin inhibits angiogenesis, thus avoiding acquired drug resistance, is a significant development in cancer research. Further research will determine its suitability in the treatment of human beings. However, the drug is a protein and will be expensive to administer. It may have long-term side effects and would have to be administered intraperitoneally or subcutaneously.

Bv8 regulates myeloid-cell-dependent tumour angiogenesis
