Issues concerning environmental aspects of energy companies in Europe and the United States are discussed. Particular attention is given to European protests against the influence of American energy companies on the president's decision to sign out of international environmental agreements.

UN backs transgenic crops for poorer nations

Article Abstract:

A United Nations report suggests that genetically modified crops should be available in some circumstances to poor nations to alleviate hunger and poverty. The benefits of transgenic crops will probably outweigh the risks.
